Seven game studios bought by Swedish Embracer Group
Embracer Group has announced that seven game studios have been acquired and placed under Embracer's various subsidiaries. More specifically, these are 3D Realms, Ghost Ship Games, Slipgate Ironworks, Force Field, Easy Trigger, Digixart and Crazy Labs.
3D Realms is the studio for the old gems Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior and Wolfenstein and the newly released Graven.
In addition to this, a merch company called Grimfrost has also been acquired, which is said to be used to heel Valheim merch.
The total price tag landed at $ 315 million.
3D Realms and Slipgate Ironworks will now work under Saber Interactive, Force Field and Digixart will go to Koch and Ghost Ship Games and Easy Trigger will end up under Coffee Stain.
