PlayStation 5 reaches ten million units sold

Sony has announced that the PlayStation 5 has now reached a new milestone as it has now sold more than 10 million copies since the console was released on November 12 last year.

The fact that Sony sold so many devices in such a short time means that it is now Sony's fastest selling console ever.

Sony continues to invest heavily in trying to get more devices out to consumers, how well they will succeed with that, we will probably find out when Santa Claus comes in a few months.

Microsoft has also succeeded well with its new console. Both the Xbox Series X and S also sell better than the company's previous Xbox consoles. Microsoft has not provided exact sales figures, but it is estimated that these consoles sold approximately 6.5 million units in total.
