According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to release a new model of MacBook Air around the middle of next year. The computer will also get a new upgraded version of the M1 processor, which will be faster and more efficient. According to Mark Gurman, the processor should have as many CPU cores as M1 (eight) but increase to nine or ten GPU cores from seven or eight.
