J. Allen Brack resigns as CEO for Blizzard
During these last weeks Activision Blizzard has been in abit of a bad publicity storm. The gaming giant has received a lot of negative publicity for its internal macho culture and the company has been sued for discrimination and employees have started a strike. Now it all seems to be bearing some fruit as J. Allen Brack, who replaced Mike Morhaime as CEO of Blizzard 2018, will resign and be replaced by Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra. In a statement, Brack said:
“I am confident that Jen Oneal and Mike Ybarra will provide the leadership Blizzard needs to realize its full potential and will accelerate the pace of change. I anticipate they will do so with passion and enthusiasm and that they can be trusted to lead with the highest levels of integrity and commitment to the components of our culture that make Blizzard so special. ”
This is probably just the beginning of all the restructuring of the company that will be needed to get their company start running again and out of the bad weather.
