Malaysian police recently seized 1069 bitcoinminers. What happened then? Well, they were driven to a parking lot where they were crushed with a big drum roll. Watch the spectacular movie below.

That was after the computers, so-called ASIC miners, illegally used electricity worth two million dollars to produce - break - bitcoins. In total, the electricity was used for 1069 servers. It writes the American news service CNBC.

It was after a tip that the authorities in Borneo began to dig into the matter. They then made six different raids between February and April this year, something that ended with the servers being seized. The computers are valued at the equivalent of SEK 1.26 million or about $150,000 and were smashed by the police following a court order.

The film that shows how the hard drives, graphics cards and other parts of these mines are smashed in a parking lot has quickly gone viral. You can watch the whole movie here: youtu.be/c_tcg9kOfkg
